In this article, we will show you step by step how to repair your nail professionally - safely, gently and with long-lasting results!

1. PREPARATION OF THE CUTICLES

Tip: Clean cuticles are crucial for the durability of your modelling!

2. MATTING THE NAIL PLATE

Gently file the surface of the nail to remove the shine. This means that the material adheres optimally – without damaging the natural nail.

3. DEGREASE AND APPLY DEHYDRATOR

Apply a dehydrator to remove excess oil and moisture. This step prevents the material from peeling off and ensures maximum adhesion.

4. SET TEMPLATE

Carefully position a nail template under the free edge of the nail. It forms the basis for the construction and provides stability when repairing and possibly lengthening the nail.

5. CONSTRUCTION WITH OCTAGON FIBER BASE

Apply the Octagon Fiber Base – enriched with glass fibers for extra stability. Fill in the damaged area and lengthen the nail if necessary. Then let it cure under UV/LED light.

6. FILE INTO SHAPE

Use a file to give the nail your desired shape. Pay attention to a clean structure and symmetry – this ensures a professional finish.

7. PAINT & SEAL

Choose your favourite gel polish and apply it in thin layers – each layer is cured separately. Finally, a top coat is applied over it for shine and protection.

8. DON'T FORGET CARE

Massage some nail oil into the cuticles and treat your hands to a portion of care with a moisturizing ampoule or hand cream. This not only keeps the nail beautiful, but also the skin supple.
